Mr. Gomez is the Senior Vice President of Business Attraction for Brick City Development Corporation (BCDC).   Mr. Gomez has 15 years of professional experience in financial services, including electronic banking and commercial and small business lending.   Prior to joining BCDC, Mr. Gomez was a Sr. Finance Officer for the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (EDA), a state organization chartered to strengthen New Jersey’s economy by retaining and growing businesses through financial assistance, renewing communities, and promoting the State’s strategic advantages and incentives to attract domestic and international businesses.   Prior to the New Jersey EDA, Mr. Gomez was a commercial and small business banking lender for the Washington Mutual Bank NA. Mr. Gomez also worked in Mexico City for 7 years for Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentara (BBVA Bancomer).   BBVA is a Spanish global group that has offered individual and corporate customers the most complete range of financial and non-financial products and services for over 150 years.   He held positions as Assistant Director for ATM Management and Development, the bank’s Call Center, and its Home Banking division.   Mr. Gomez received his Bachelors of Science from the University of Minnesota and a Masters in International Management from The University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.
