Commercial Office > The National Newark Building

Overview

A Newark landmark built in the Art Deco style in 1931, The National Newark Building underwent a $60 million renovation in 1999 and 2000 to transform it into a state-of-the-art office tower.  Improvements included new insulated windows, high-speed fiber optics, upgraded electric capacity, new HVAC systems, an architecturally true renovation of the lobby and common areas, and an exterior lighting program.  Located at 744 Broad Street, the building offers easy access to public transportation.
