About the Newark Office of Film and Television

The Newark Office of Film and Television (NOFT) works to establish a collaborative relationship between the City of Newark and the film and television community by providing access to a complete array of services for digital media production teams. The NOFT also supports the provision of education opportunities in film and television for Newark’s young people. The NOFT is hosted by Brick City Development Corporation.

The Newark Office of Film and Television will provide assistance to production companies including, but not limited to:

• Logistical assistance including site searches and identifying locations for shoots
• Assistance with obtaining the goods & services needed to succeed in the production process
• Assistance in selecting studio and location access
• Serve as liaison between production companies and City departments
